Dook is after Flory?
-
Purdue fans on Badgers game chat were mentioning Flory's name as well. No idea where it's coming from.

Duke people are saying his agent is actively shopping him, including to Duke...
Wherever he does end up, the rumor is over 3 milllion at this point.

Not sure where my end would be financially for Flory but for the best defender in the country it's got to be a big number. Its a pay or someone else does world. He's by the far again the best player that can return to the roster and has now proven his worth again. Pay up and keep your star, if possible
-
Would love to keep Flory. Love his intangibles (attitude, charisma, chemistry)... in addition to his obvious elite talent.
Plus, he's a rarity these days-- home-grown talent.

Iowa St lost one of their top assistants to San Diego as JR Blount leaves to become the head coach. Sounds like he was pretty involved in their success.
-
@bskeet coming in as the top HS center, I think there is a compelling argument that he was severely under utilized last year, with a roster that didnt fit him, but the growth in happiness and court presence this year, in addition to not fouling is undeniable.
If Flory could develop a midrange shot and some threes, which i actually do think is possible, he could do something next year that few bigs have done for KU under Self.
-
Honestly he should just focus on becoming a terror to defend in and around the paint. He has that over the right shoulder hook but that's really it for post moves at the moment. He gets literally everything else at the rim. I don't think we need a jumper/ perimeter shot from him at all, he just needs to become a skilled force in his area. I also think the improved ball handling we've seen from him can unlock him becoming an ISO threat. There's no reason with his athletic ability and footwork that he cannot develop a bag of moves down low.

In important news, Duke’s starting PG and unheralded part of their success Caleb Foster is out with a fractured foot. Can’t imagine he will play this season but who knows.
Patrick Ngongba, their starting center is also out for the Acc tournament with foot soreness.
Whatever helps them lose in the tournament is good in my book

For those of us living the leisure life, a whole slate of games for today!!! These are Eastern times posted

-
We play UCF tomorrow night right?
-
@Jayhawk_69 no . We play the Winner of TCU or Oklahoma St
-
Well the way they are talking is K/State is about settled on their next Coach. Calhoun from Utah St. Talk like he may be announced soon, possibly yet this week
-
Is ksu an upgrade?
-
Does anyone else hate the dang floor? Why is everything dark colors these days. Pizza Hut and McDonald’s used to be red, yellow and white. Now everything is black or gray, it’s just weird and like they want everyone depressed.
-
@crimsonblu22 At this point I think at best it might be a level step up or down. Not saying that just cause I can't stand K/State but right now I seriously believe it's not.
K/State really kind of threw all their eggs in a basket for the St Louis Coach but he turned them down

Iowa St and Tx Tech are getting ready to tip off. I think Iowa St has a shoulder chip from their 5th place seating. For all the complaining by KSt players about the floor, both KSt and BYU shot lights out: KSt shot 51% from the field; 57% from 3 and BYU shot 55% from the field and 34% from 3. I don't know if the floor has much to do with shooting; it would seem to be more of a factor on TOs. The gray floor is still better than Oregon's mess/distractin of a floor.

Miami of Ohio loses in their opening round of the MAC tournament. Meaning they are likely in but steal a bubble spot from someone.
