Man Tre is just solid- - --very solid , really have grown to like him - -alot , then we have " THE DAWG ' I actually think Melvin has gotten better with his three point shooting , and when he gets out on the break -- - -look out. NOW let's hope from last nights game take away Kohl is MAYBE coming out of that Season long drought on his three, if we can get some consistency from him just makes us that more dangerous , really pulling for Kohl/

@BeddieKU23 Ya I've read so many articles that Stokes just isn't worth the head ache. Almost sounds like stokes is a me , m , me type of guy - lot of distractions, been in fights with other kids at his school- -think there is a good chance the negatives out weighs the positive I'm good and I know it ---could be a real cancer to the other players on the team on AND off the court.

He obviously loves the attention as this recruiting should be over really don't believe he is any closer to announcing then when it first started. Even heard good chance in the end he never steps foot on any College court. that he will end up sitting out of College ball for a year play across the waters then enter for the NBA. just don't think with all this he is worth it --good talent just to much baggage/drama following him- -don't want him causing problems with fellow team mates.

OK, here is the thing . If you really wanna know the truth- - -I really don't think Darryn has hardly ANY SAY in this whole dam thing. If that is true then that's truly sad. I mean I'm feeling that the show is being totally run by mommy and daddy. This kid has had his decisions made probably for almost entire time, by Mom & Dad and agents so on and so on.

So now Darryn is what 18 ? - 19 years old? -- and I think the parents are still wanting to make the decisions , Darryn is an adult now I am beginning to think the wrong people are still trying to tell Darryn make the decisions. IF that's the case and Darryn wants to play then these agents AND THE PARENTS need to step back and let it go. He is a grown man starting his own life, his future is in front of him. The longer he sits the more he faces the possibility of his value going down. I think the wrong people right now are still making the decisions

Notes from the portal : Of the players that was on rosters in 2025 on day one of the portal more then 25 % are now in the transfer/portal.- ----So far today-- -day one of the portal there has been THREE THOUSAND AND FIFTY SEVEN players to enter the portal.--that's just beyond insane.

Well , not sure about you al but I think there is a legit chance we don't make the tourney at all this year. this team has so many flaws. We have Bigs that time and time again get their ass spanked over , and over , and over again , we have a bunch of guys that don't know how to box their man out , get bullied around all the time. we have a Stud that can not play in critical points of the game. - -- so many area's we look totally lost. -Five losses already and tow to the bottom feeders in the Lwague, Very easily lose thirteen forteen on the year. the time for KU just to intimidate other team for s win is long gone - --there are NO SCHOOLS that are just straight out afraid of playing KU any motru

Guys that shot we saw by Peterson just hit at the end of the half-- -- is not what you see everyday- -that's what separates him from others.- - That shot was a well guarded hand in face guarded and Darryn drained ir like EH that's nothing, the kid is special

@JoJoAndMe Again just because they supposedly didn't play that much doesn't really equate to them not being quality players There are alot of really good quality players that fall under this, might be a case just deep at their position doesn't mean they are EH..

Not necessarily sayig you but there are people that think these 4 and 5 star players are just going to start falling into our laps. What people have to understand that's not happening at this point and time we might get a four star or two every now and then but not at that level yet, We may never be at that level but people who really follow our recruiting knows how our recruiting is improving.

We are recruiting kids now that before wouldn't even return a phone call or let us in the house - - - instead of being the only school that has offered some kid we are in recruiting battles many times with the likes of Michigan St- -- - Auburns-- Oklahoma schools such as that, Now are we winning a lot of those battles at this point ?-- No , but point is we are in the chase takes time, and now we were having to battle with this dam NIL, as you know it's just a bidding war for the meat anymore. These kids have no loyalty for the school it's all about the money

Well here we go already , got your na sayers talking about the players that are committing from the portal. No matter what Coach L and staff do it's not good enough . Players from Miami , South Carolina , Georgia , Texas , Kentucky still not good enough,

Just because these guys didn't play a lot doesn't mean these kids still aren't good solid players , they are coming from some pretty dam good programs loaded with 5 *'s & 4 * players doesn't mean these guys aren't solid.

Some people thinking we going into portal and just pull in all these super athletes sorry to say just not going to happen. just because they didn't play a lot doesn't mean everything.-- -give these kids reps , more then 5-10 reps see how they turn out. After all there was a reason they got recruited by these schools in the first plae. Some are never happy let's see how it works out

@kjayhawks2.0 I truly think they will try to force Pope out unless some miracle takes place the rest of the Season. The talent is there, but they look really dis organized. I see friction between team mates.

Perfect example they were in a huddle after another Kentuck foul- -two points Chandler hollering at a team mate in he huddle & another player pushing a team mates arm off his shoulder in a huddle- - -NOT GOOD. for them I love it, ONE BIG THING for them is to buy Pope out will cos them twenty five Million

@BeddieKU23 Well not helping now but we will have that 3rd big next year with Adkins- Tille can play his normal position & fill in a couple of minutes at the five if need be,

I think also that if we could just get Kohl to bust loose what a HUGE help that would be. I admit and get down on Kohl at times BUT then come to reality the kid isn't even really suppose to be here yet , he should be a Senior in high School , & the step up to College has been hard on him this year- --still think he going to be fine in the future , his hard luck has really got in his head as far as shooting. He has the tools just needs a breakthrough and would really help

@BeddieKU23 Again I have to agree. when Darryn is on the floor our offense is really choppy/bogged down , The other guys that's on the floor with him are having a tendency of standing around/ not moving waiting for Darryn to do something.

Now for the ones that are thinking wondering what the hell I'm talking about, don't get your shorts all in a knot I love having Darryn on the floor , but just look the others are doing nothing.
