Misery is defined as having no wins against teams with a winning record by seasons end.

@wissox83 Unfortunately, being one of those teams is what defined our year.

Anyone have the same complaints about JD as were really loud about Harris in bb? You know, team leader who stayed too long and didn't rove as capable as initially thought? I don't feel that way, but the knives were out here in Buckets Land for DjH more than they were directed at JD.

@mayjay Yeah, I did think that missou actually beat us while we had a winning record.

@wissox83 We actually were undefeated after 2 games (I had thought it was midseason).

So, this confirms what we all knew: Missouri is the first step down on the stairway to Hell.

@mayjay Except the rest of the world sees that they've been to five straight bowl games and we probably won't ever go to another one

Not another game of interest but as of right now ISU football team has 17 players on the roster. Sadly we don’t play them next season.

That is what comes with having players who have made pacts with their horned cloven-tailed host when they descended into the fiery depths...souls for bowls.

I've got eligibility left. If ISU needs a backup extra point kicker I probably could knock em through. Imagine the NIL money though!

@nuleafjhawk Everything I know about Satan's soul harvesting, as an exchange for improved athletic performance, I learned by watching Ray Walston in Damn Yankees.

Connected, but irrelevant aside: He also educated me about life and WW2 naval service on a South Pacific island. In that same history class, Walston was also the first drag performer I ever saw. I liked Mitzi better.

My wife traveled in her work. She could talk sports with the guys. They would ask, "What teams do you root for? She would answer, "Any team that's playing Ohio State, USC, Texas or Alabama."

Texas Tech was scoreless against Oregon today. JMU naysayers can suck an egg.

Texas Tech on offense looked like they didn’t want to get hit or be there whatsoever.

                                        @kjayhawks2.0 Tech's offense was offensive.

That Tech we saw on the field, sure didn't look like any offense they had all year.. I mean anything that could go wrong DID go wrong, I mean they looked Bad I mean really really bad I realize Oregons defense had a lot to do with that but still-- they just looked really bad.- -Can't blame Tech's defense they did their job

More fuel for the JMU fire….

                                            indiana steals our coach and…

Thirteen of Indiana’s roughly 30 transfers ahead of the 2024 season came from JMU, and they quickly became the backbone of a roster built on toughness, accountability, and belief… That impact was immediate. In the first season of the Cignetti era, Indiana surged to an 11–2 record and a College Football Playoff ()appearance, signaling a true culture shift within the program.

                                            But yeah JMU doesnt belong.
