He loves us

He loves us not.

He loves us...

I don't really care because aint no freshman gonna lead us to the promised land thats for sure.

Much like KU hiring Ed Manning as an assistant coach, Kentucky is supposedly offering Stokes' mentor/high school assistant coach, Jamal Crawford an assistant job.

Thought experiment: Would you rather Stokes commit or would you rather 5for5 pass and Tre White return?
Stokes by far

I'm so sick and tired ofall this stokes drama. the kid loves being in the spot light - - --center of attention he needs that. I really feel with all the money he is asking in NIL and the distraction he is going to be - -he wants it to be all about him/---HUGE DISTRACTION he is NOT WORTH IT. major head ache BTE BYE he could be the final nail in Coach Self's coffin
-
@wissox83 for sure not stokes - - --major head case.
-
I saw a tweet of his showing annoyance with Kentucky fans. He said I'm an 18 year old making a big decision. I'm taking my time. You follow recruiting closer than I but I see a young man not making a rash decision instead of a major head case.

Stokes is a difference maker just by being more aggressive than DP. But as it stands now we haven't cracked the top 30 yet in the polls I have seen. I'm thinking Stokes will go elsewhere and by now has made it clear he thinks it's just business first. If a team cannot average 85 points and win the rebound battle you are down in the 5/6 seed scrum. The coaching is just too good anymore and evidently we are not rich enough to do much more than this. Maybe Taylen Kinney has just enough pull on TS. I hope that I am completely wrong. Tiller will have one really good game next season and Flory will not be the savior for Louisville but I wish all of our big men had stayed.

@BeddieKU23 Aaron Miles should’ve won a Natty as a true freshman here but then we clanked dozens of FTs.

Everyone at this point is just going to go to the highest bidder. Nothing else matters whether it’s coaching pedigree, venue or academics. Florys deal is supposedly worth more than 7 million. They can have him for that all day IMO.

Depends on the player. Darryn Peterson did take less by coming to KU. Stokes would be the same situation. Offer is a fair bit less than UK's is what I understand but Pope is so unlikable.
