My guess is Frager is an option B if we don't get Stokes. With the money we would save from not paying stokes I am sure we could afford Frager if we really wanted him.

Seeing Flory is entering the portal. Peace out y'all

He also declared for the draft which is not uncommon for players to also enter the portal in those situations.

Big market is so ridiculous that flory might make 5 million on the open market
-
Was curious about his NBA comps...
In terms of NBA comparison for Bidunga, two clear names that he shares similarities with are Clint Capela and Adem Bona. All three of them possess extremely similar skill sets and physical gifts. In particular, each of them is undersized for their position, but possesses great athleticism and physical tools. Offensively, they all are elite rim-runners and lob threats who thrive in transition, but can’t do much else. On defense, they utilize their athleticism and length to be great rim protectors and rebounders.

@rockchalkjayhawk Robert Williams

We aren't finding a better center than flory but the money he's asking for is ridiculous and this song and dance is exhausting

Alright fine, I'll take my 1st weekend exit glasses off. Now, I see your point.
I actually think the real indictment of the staff is they haven’t evaluated talent well enough in the NIL era.
Gone after big names instead of grinding the tape.
This is what I’ve been saying for the past 2 years times 1000
-
My inside sources are telling me no mater what Flory will not be in a Jayhawk uniform next season. I’d bet he stays in the draft, I think he needs another year but I could see him going late round 1 with a good combine.
-
He’s going to Duke is the early word.
-
Our future "key to success" is to develop players well within a season and get them to perform well in March. If we just count on recruiting or keeping big talent, it gets too expensive to build an entire team like that.
-
I believe that all players - basketball, football, baseball, field hockey, ice dancers, water poloists, etc.. should be paid a minimum of 10 billion dollars per semester and can only stay at one school for a maximum of one semester.
-
@nuleafjhawk shakespearian actors?
-
@approxinfinity that's a good analysis. Rigglle is bonkers.
-
@kjayhawks2.0 Wouldn't be surprised if Bill is just done dealing with his guardian. Will be telling if the first portal visitor is a big man.
-
@nuleafjhawk I meant player types that need to get paid. If only we funded art.
-
I take that back, immediately. Dont fund art. It would suck all the joy out of it.
-
@approxinfinity I love both of those posts. Every time we discuss NIL dollars, I think “what about art, scholarship, ….?” The things that really do matter. (And yet I’ve watched 99% of our games from start to finish for many years.)
