@approxinfinity There's a reason that pride (stubborness) is one of the seven deadly sins. My dad is the same way. He's 90 and very mentally sharp, but his body is failing him. He falls frequently. Thank God he hasn't broken anything. But he will not listen to my pleas to use a cane, walker or wheelchair. "Those are for old people ".

My dad sleeps till 3 in the afternoon, asks me ten times a day where I live, what do I do, etc. 94 years old. My sister and her superhero husband live with him and mom too who's not in the best of health. I'm with them in far northern wisconsin for a long weekend. Not easy. I don't really want to grow old ;).

We should start a post on older parents

@wissox83 my son has strict orders. If anyone mentions putting me in a nursing home, he is to book a cruise to Jamaica and dump me overboard on the way back.

Offense just dropped into the 50s now for the 3rd straight year. Thats our main problem and has been

I would argue that this year rebounding has been a bigger problem than scoring. If our offense is ranked in the 50s, our rebounding must be in the 300s. However, I agree that our offense needs to take a big step up.

Frontcourt has to be better. I thought Tre played selfish at points too. Bench was awful again..guys gotta step up.

This season has hammered home the point that cohesion and chemistry are huge factors to success, and that a team is rarely, if ever, just a factor of the sum of talent it puts on the court. When Darryn is out, we are a much less talented team. But because we have played so much with him out we have developed cohesion without him. We have the ball, understand our roles, and play sound defense. With Darryn in, the talent level jumps but the offense looks lost, the ball sticks, and whoever has the ball tends to try and score 1v1. The defense also appears to be more hesitant on switches and less confident about positioning.

Wore my 50th Anniversary tour of The Moody Blues DAYS OF FUTURE PASSED album tye-died tshirt today because it cements the time and place for where this program is to us fans who have been through thick and thin. I saw The Moody Blues in Cedar Park, TX and was a bucket list item for me and it was shortly after my husband passed. None of us thought we could actually win the game there in Arizona, but a lot of us just wanted to see a fair fight. I don't think that was the case at specific points in the contest.
Ride My SeeSaw is a classic and is what we experience with each new season, game, team, players, ups and downs, health, injuries and gut wrenching losses, but I still will hop on board the seesaw every day and support our Jayhawks.

48th in rebounding overall. They have games they cant rebound like yesterday. Tiller was a part of that with the fouls but overall team just didn't have enough effort. But the offense is a complete mess and has been for years. The numbers don't lie
