Well shoot, Jason only played in 2 series in the first half and 2 series in the second half. The back up QB got more reps. The Kings lost with little to none offense. Oh well, I'll check in on the Kings once a week after each game, but my guy isn't doing well.

The false quotes are just for views, just like the Hurley headbutt headlines. I watched the video a couple of times and said what headbutt. But the telltale take came from the referee himself who said "what are you talking about?" We all have to get use to false headlines, etc. Just like the people we all remember speaking out and we knew most of what they were saying was false. Keep your skeptical filters in place folks. It's a bumpy ride on the internet.

For the 3 people on this website who care, Jason Bean and the Kings play at 7C on ESPN Saturday. They play Orlando. Unfortunately, my wife and I are hosting Easter dinner Saturday evening. But, I'm not the cook; just the guy who makes helpful suggestions, so I'm confident I can slip away and watch a bit of the game.

Shoot, I forgot to watch the game. QB Bean didn't have a great game and the Kings lost to Birmingham 15-13. Bean was 14/27 for 226 yds, 1 TD, 2 INTs, Ouch. He was also the leading rusher 5 attempts for 27 yds. The Kings only had 46 yds rushing so they aren't a very good team right now. But, I will watch UFL football instead of MLB. Stay tuned, Jason Bean fans.

As a peremptory coping devise, I'm focussing on Jason Bean's UFL game next Friday. He plays for the new team, Louisville Kings. The last several years since KU was out of the tournament by Sunday, I looked at all the UFL rosters for former KU players. I haven't done that yet. I really hope Jason has a great season and is able to catch onto an NFL team.

Does anyone else feel cheated by this year's team? KU is a 3.5 dog to Pitino's team. After last night's second half, I guess I should feel lucky it wasn't an even bigger, more insulting spread. What the hell is going on with KU basketball? I've wondered that all year.

I sure hope KU shoots a much higher percentage tonight. 22/58 from the field last night 38% won't be enough against Houston. Maybe the different floor will help. Got to win this fellas.

It seemed like Kansas was either not prepared for their double team/ trap on the perimeter or TCU was just forcing KU out of their offensive flow and that caused some bad offense. They did adjust and then the 2nd half became the ref show and just about every offensive possession became a foul. Flory should have gotten the Ball more but it definitely seemed like we struggled against their pressure.

He's actually had less then 6 shot attempts in 4 of their last 5 games so its been going on of late.

Do you think the coaching staff would mind if I meet with the team before tonight's game during shootaround and show the guards how KU guards are supposed to feed the bear in the post? I dream about that lob pass to DMac and our other post players. Feed the damn bear; its a thing of true beauty.

I just don't understand why our guards aren't getting the ball to Flory more on offense. In 27 min last night, Flory only had 5 shots. He made all of them. Has our coaching staff just stopped coaching the entry pass into the paint or is Flory not getting position for the pass? 5/5 in 27 minutes. Come on guys.

Iowa St and Tx Tech are getting ready to tip off. I think Iowa St has a shoulder chip from their 5th place seating. For all the complaining by KSt players about the floor, both KSt and BYU shot lights out: KSt shot 51% from the field; 57% from 3 and BYU shot 55% from the field and 34% from 3. I don't know if the floor has much to do with shooting; it would seem to be more of a factor on TOs. The gray floor is still better than Oregon's mess/distractin of a floor.

The UFL had its draft in January; I didn't hear anything about it. Our man, Jason Bean was selected by the new team, Louisville Kings. The Kings play Birmingham on Friday, March 27 at 8 E on FOX. Jason is such a competitor, I think he will do well in the UFL.

Since KU's game is on ESPN, get ready to watch the beginning of the game on one of the other ESPN channels. HULU seems to have all the alternate channels. There's nothing worse than not seeing the beginning of the game. Unless of course Peterson doesn't play and KU gets bombed again. Oi
