That's not brighter honestly. Schneider is going to do just enough to save his job again, bring in another strong recruiting class and build expectations for next season, then significantly underachieve and do just enough to save his job again. The man has made 2 NCAA Tournament's in 11 years. Fire his ass already regardless of what ever happens in this tournament.

this one can't entirely be judged on the box score. unless they added a mental mistake category.

Pretty much the most glaring stat. We challenged them to shoot, and they made enough to win.
INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCES
Council -- he did what he had to in the major stats: 15 pts, 9 boards, 4 assists. but an ugly to watch 5 TOs.
Bryson -- 0 points, 5 boards. Think he'll be better in years to come? not sure what his go to way to score is yet.
Mbiya -- more boards than Flory in less than half the minutes.
Elmarko -- will be remembered for that last play
Tre -- 4 pts, 5 boards, 3 assists, 3 TOs. we needed him to score.
DP -- 21 with some i guess questionable shot selections. but somebody has to shoot!

KU -- 44
SJU -- 36
Nicely done. going in i thought we matched up well to compete on the boards.

How would we feel about this team, a front court rotation of Ejiofor, Udeh, Clemence and a backcourt with Bobby Pettiford in it?
We know what Ejiofor turned into which is why I was so frustrated losing him, but Udeh, Clemence, and Pettiford were also solid role players on teams that won at least one game in the NCAA Tournament this year.

We beat STJ in almost every stat in the game except points off of turnovers which was -11.

@Texas-Hawk-10 ejiofor and udeh would've been miles better than what we got this season, largely because of tiller. the other 2 wouldn't be impactful

Man it hurts to see Marko has broken up as he was after the game. Say what you want about his game, but he really, really cares and loves being a Jayhawk.

@FarmerJayhawk Very true , It's not like he intentionally set out to just le the kid drive and score. He just got beat on the opening inbound and didn't get caught up --He is a good kid an unfortunately I'm sure he has been getting a bunch of hate messages and such from a bunch of pricks that has nothing better to do - -just like you got a bunch of haters that's on Coach some people are just unreal

flawed team, but these guys provided a ton of great moments. seeing their pressers after the game was depressing. They really cared about the school and believed they could do great things. I wish them all nothing but the best

For sure I get on these guys fairly often but there is a difference between pointing out a bad play and hating a player for mistakes on the court. I loved KJ and Juan as people just don’t believe they should’ve ever been starting for the KU basketball team.
