2026 KU Season

I really like that KU has kept the baseball diamond on campus. Of course it's been upgraded since I passed by it on my way to classes in 1978; then it was just the diamond and bleachers with about 6 rows of seating. Even though I read the UDK daily, I was surprised by the occasional afternoon game when I was walking by after classes. I wonder if any homerun bombs have hit McCarthy?

Ooof. I never realized how terrible Arkansas fans are. They give UK fans a run for their money! Yikes.
-
Great start through 3 innings
-
That’s a winner

@FarmerJayhawk some nice records too! I thought I saw 6 tmrw, not sure?
-
A nice win!! I had it on my phone most the afternoon. We will play the winner of MO state and Arkansas tomorrow. It’s important to remember this is a double elimination regional so we have to beat the same team twice pending on how it’s goes. Both winners will play and both losers will play eliminating one team. Then the 1-0 bracket game loser will play the winner of the elimination game.

5 tmrw!

Beat Arkansas

I think we may have to have an upgrade for The Hog here before too long. I hope they keep it there on campus

I thought it was great to see Bill Self in the stands. Hey, Lance where were you? I loved seeing all the young children in the stands. Baseball was the only sport kids played when I grew up. Baseball and kickball.
-
Crafty Arkansas held back its best pitcher, Hunter Dietz to start against KU, according to the Fort Smith Southwest Times Record. (Does anyone still read newspapers?) Let's hope the Jayhawk bats are hot today.
-
@stoptheflop they said lance and wife were there and they also have generously given to the KU Bb fund. Real Deal Devin Neal and gf were there too. Doc was w/Coach Self.

@crimsonblu22 Thanks for the update. I'm stuck with what the ESPN+ announcers tell me.
-
My Go Big Blue magnet is probably the oldest KU thing I have. It is from the late 60s.

KU doesn't necessarily have to beat the same team twice to move on, they just have win 3 games total and that could be one win against each team depending on how the elimination games go. If KU beat Arkansas today, then Mo. State beats Northeaster and Arkansas today and tomorrow afternoon, they'd play KU Sunday evening and if KU won that one, they win the region having played each team once. End of the day, KU needs to win 3 games to move on to the Super Regionals.
