@Jayhawk_69 as is KU football the last 3 years if we could just not make ridiculous errors we would be fine. We should be 3-1. The close games I watch and just wait for the ridiculous play that costs us the game. Utah is hard to get a reading on with their powder puff schedule but we have to go there and they had a by week to get ready. I swear the conference hates us with the schedule we get most the time. I remember 3 years in a row we played KSU when they were off a by and we weren’t. Just watch us, we don’t need help shooting ourselves in the foot. MTSU isn’t a great team but they came in with a .500 record and lost those two games by a combined 12 points. I was honestly surprised we were favored by 21.5 points. I figured we would win like 27-10 but wouldn’t be super comfortable til late. First shutout since 2008 and idk if I’ve ever seen Kansas beat an FBS team like that. Football is such strange game in comparing scores. Missouri maybe be better than expected spanking Florida today. ASU is obviously a very bad team as they are getting pounded by Baylor 21-6 as the writing of this. Just crazy to think about us making about 10 plays over these last few seasons. LL would be a god in Lawrence, multiple wins of KSU, a win against Missouri and 4 straight bowl games.

I could criticize . . . and I have, but they stayed within 24-27 and were a yard from making it 31-34. Then drove 68 yards before turning it over on downs. A case can be made that LL is doing a good job with an average QB and and undersized RB lacking depth.

Obviously any comparison to the Beaty coaching isn’t going to be positive. IMO if we aren’t going to move Marshall to RB or WR, which is likely where he would be at most P4 programs. We need to burn the play book and start running the triple option. The option came about for teams that gave up too much penetration up the middle. I’m not sure if our Guards came from Haskell but they sure hell look like it. I’d also like to see Dylan Edwards get more touches. I agree he is small but he is very shifty and quick. He is averaging 5.9 yards per carry. Willis has not impressed me in the slightest so far between seeming to run right into the defense and have holding calls against him, mainly because his blocking form is similar to my sons 5th and 6th team. We have to find ways to get Edwards and McMillan the ball in space. I’m just not sure that’s possible with Marshall throwing it to them. We obviously have a long journey ahead with the ASU game. But I’ve always felt like weird game circumstances favor the underdog which is obviously us. We likely won’t be favored in another game this season outside of middle Tennessee. I do think Mizzou is a much better team than ASU so all we can do is line them up and see how it goes.

I must say I 2nd @bskeet's rec for getting your PSA test. A couple of you i know don't have prostates but it's the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths for men which may surprise you but so many men get it, by percent it's not horribly deadly. I had it, kept an eye on it for about 3 years, but then my PSA started going up and a biopsy showed it advanced to a gleason 7 which is like stage 3 prostate cancer and they yanked it out one day. My dad who just passed had a very slow growing prostate cancer for about 25 years and didn't die from it but from other things. Easy blood test.
