My son and I attended the Mecum Auto Auction in Kansas City last weekend. Neither of us are what you'd call motorheads (although as a teenager I had a bad-ass '70 Mustang Fastback), but we both had a blast! There were hundreds of awesome cars, trucks and other contraptions. It was really a lot of fun. We saw a 2005 Ford GT sell for $500,000 (I only bid $450k ). If you want to try something different, check it out sometime. I think you'll have fun.
