Forgot about this one in the business of a Sunday morning. I turned it on 5 minutes ago and surmised we made a nice comeback.

Kinney may become a favorite Jayhawk.

Stokes just does not give damn in the lane.

We won’t be playing Mbiya or Reeves much this season. Just a much much better team when we play small.

Nice to see Perry have some run and success out there in the first half

Against Louisville I felt they were just a better team and it hurt to say that. This team is playing harder when Trey and Melvin are sitting.

We can run and out athlete anyone when we play small. Ball moves way better. Lane is clears out for drives.

Mbiya and Reeves just aren’t athletic enough. When TKR is finally playing they won’t get any run.

My season forecast post from yesterday is being edited! There's some reasons for optimism after watching this. Stokes has shown his promise. Kinneys value is being revealed. Of course it's just an exhibition and I cautioned about drawing conclusions from the Louisville loss and should be cautious about this one to be fair. It does appear neither team is playing lock down defense which may provide opportunities for the fun type of offense we're seeing.

IF they let a big like that hang in the lane that long he'll get a lot of points.

We play downhill we get better shots. The center position is going big to Duke.

@Kcmatt7 said in Duke vs KU:

But our small ball lineup is getting destroyed by Duke's bigs. They are taking full advantage of switches. Also getting offensive boards and tip-ins.

Looks kinda like same old, same old, rather disappointing

When Micheal Jordan scored 69 points, I knew I’d always remember it as the night me and Micheal combined for 70 points — Stacey King, Former Bulls Player
