No it was not great. But it still was not as bad as our o-line play. No run-blocking success or pass protection

People will blame Marshall and he does deserve some criticism for his performance tonight. But the offensive line play was much, much worse than the QB play.

The offense line wasn’t great but if you switched QBs we win the game going away. He missed some wide open guys with a clean pocket several times.

This is what Kansas football is under LL play just good enough to give us hope and then let up scores in the last two minutes of half’s and have back breaking turnovers. This will be the third straight year of it. Already getting very old. I expected a rebuild this season and 2 wins but that would be much easier to swallow had we made bowls with the experience talent we had the last two. At least we have basketball…..wait we don’t even compete for conference titles anymore in that sport. Easily the roughest years of my near 40 as a ku fan.

@kjayhawks2.0 That might be true. But the same logic is true the other way. If the teams switch offensive lines we blow misery out by multiple touchdowns

I agreed to disagree with how bad some of Marshall throws were tonight.

Half it being close was also mizzous miscues with Blocked FGs and a fumble. If we don’t have a scoop and score on that block, game is over at half time.

Sooo disappointing. Looks like another 5-7 season at best. Marshall's three turnovers, inaccurate passing and poor judgement will not lead us to a winning record. The offensive line is ineffective. The defensive line (strong against the run) cannot put pressure on the QB. Simmons made some incredibly accurate throws that he would not have made under pressure. In seven seasons, LL does not have a win over Misery or the Pussy Cats. Hmmmmm. The up and coming coach is at Tulsa.
I feel embarrassed. My school "took the high ground" to get back in bed with it's sworn enemy so that they could stomp us on our home turf. In spite of our mistakes, this was a winnable game and our squad blew it. Where do we go from here. I might not be long before a shiny new, expensive stadium could be empty. I do not see a positive future for this program.

@JoJoAndMe ain’t no way this team is winning 5 games unless they improve a significant amount and Mizzou turns out to be one of the best teams in the SEC, which is highly unlikely.

I wrote "at best." We should all be concerned about the changing direction of this team.
