Following Self is daunting.
Next coach will look at the Self's winning percentage, B12 titles, Tournament Titles and wonder: "If that wasn't good enough, how will I keep this job?"
Whoever it is will probably need to do what Jon Scheyer has done in his first four seasons-- 3 ACC tournament titles, multiple sweet 16 appearances and a National Title game appearance.
Yikes.

Really tough for it to end. Even tougher for it to end this way.
His impact on the program is undeniable.
There will have to be some historic commemoration at some point.

Looks like there will be no announcement this week Even though bill put out a statement saying that information that's coming out is bad information and there's no time frame of a decision so that doesn't mean that he's not thinking about it

True, but I will note it took more than 20 years before that was evident.
In the years that followed, I mostly recall wondering: "Why couldn't Roy do that when he was here?" I especially had that thought when he won a championship... all three times.
