We need to win both to have any shot of staying on the 3 line - and maybe a couple of games in the B12 tournament. Hard to see a 10 loss team at any better than a 4 or 5 seed. And unless we win both these games and either the B12 or NCAA tournaments, we will have another 10 loss season.

If we win out we get the extra bye over ISU. Zona is loaded with big and wide athletic guys inside and out. They out muscled ISU easily. ISU shot 29/23/92 percents that is terrible. ISU lost the free throw contest by 11 and the officiating was pretty one sided it seemed. Tommy Lloyd and Jack Murphy asst coach have extensive relationships with Euro coaches and teams, Murphy makes numerous trips abroad working Lloyd's pipeline, With an average of 7-8 players on the roster year after year. ISU's Josh Jefferson shot 2 for 17 and Momocilovic was 1 for 5 from three.

Most teams haven't been able to match their physicality and the refs especially in Tuscon seem to allow it for them but not the other way, funny how that works in certain gyms. Lloyd has a talented bunch and they are well coached and connected.

I feel like we have to win tonight, Saturday and at least one game in KC to be on the 3-4 seed line for the big tournament. Lose one of these and get bounced in KC first time out, we will be lucky to not be a 6 seed.

Flory/Tiller must step up tonight as ASU has a lot of size. They only have 1 shooter (their leading scorer). No excuses tonight.

A little history on road wins in the Bill Self era. No one does it better. I think they know this is a pivotal game and can't be lazy coming out. String together two good halves and play with DP not to DP.

It was the Cincy game, "We overlooked them," that started with we are a solid three seed now to a four or five. We were on a high excited state of mind and now we may overlook ASU also. ASU has a 7'1 freshman center who must be pretty good. We score about the same as each other but they don't have our defense but we don't always either.

Nice win for TCU. Makes me feel good we beat them, but it makes me feel not as good that we felt so good about beating TTech and they then beat them. Makes no sense I know.

Undefeated Miami keeps squeaking by mediocre MAC teams like Toledo tonight. Then they get offended when media dudes say they need to win their league tournament to get in the dance. But I think we'd be undefeated if we had Miami's schedule.

Doug Sirmons is reffing again tonight so expect KU to get screwed on a lot of calls tonight. Why has he been allowed to officiate so many KU games this year?
