@Texas-Hawk-10 I read it, too.

Goodman reported it

I always wished Jeremy’s mom had named him Justin

@approxinfinity good one!

ASU writers are saying they ended up not interviewing him iirc. He is definitely looking to leave however. Don't think he was thrilled with JV being interim at CU when he is the one with the AHC tag.
Bland looking for a HC job as well.

Im fine with it all. We have a major coaching issue

Advanced scouting in season has been trash in recent years. How many times has KU come out and looked unprepared against teams? That's the assistants not being good with advanced scouting
-
I keep hearing that Self likely hangs it up after the season is done and most of the staff is gone but JV is being considered for the job. Case hasn’t proven anything to me that makes me think he is going to be a great coach. I wish him well but he was Terrible as a recruiting coordinator.

I don't know, but it does conflict.
-
@kjayhawks2.0 I would have said 100% before the season but I'm slightly less sure now

When it happens, we should start a tradition of wafting Crimson & Blue smoke from AFH when a new coach is selected.

It’ll be an interesting market with UNC coming open in all likelihood. It could mean the top 2 jobs in the sport come open at the same time while the top candidates are still in the tournament.
-
We got a pretty good group coming in.
-
So does anybody think Self calls it a career at KU?
IMO, he sticks around.
Any chance he’d go to OSU to close out his career!
-
No way he goes to osu!
-
@rockchalkjayhawk it's a done deal. Jerome Tang to take the helm May 1st. If we lose it, by God won't be his fault.

To make a fair comparison, popes tend to be much older when selected, and it should be noted we have only given one coach a contract for life. All the popes have that, with resignation being quite unusual. Finally, popes tend to get promoted sooner than coaches and the promotion is definitely permanent.
