So- how good can this team be?

Love to hear Some quick thoughts on the ceiling for this team.
Also, is it my imagination, or has traffic on this site dwindled over the last few seasons?

Traffic is definitely down

These guys could become anything. They could be bad in a good way. They could follow you home, incur a thousand dollar Door Dash fee and use up a big bottle of ketchup while falling in love with your ex Marine drill sergeant mom.

This team will be good and different than most. They’re going to be ugly on offense but free throw line merchants. They’ll be good on the boards and good on D.

Thanks.. should be a fun ride. God let us get to the second weekend of the tourney at least …
we are all in our own way trying to root hard for our Jayhawks in this new era of essentially professional basketball in college (do they even bother to go to class anymore? Is there staff who quietly does all their tests and homework ? Do they even know what courses they are signed up for? )
At least we have some guys who apparently love playing here (Melvin, Trey)
I can root for them -

Can they make a solid percentage here? Kind of worrisome.

Thank goodness it's basketball season. I've grown to DREAD Saturdays. Embarrassing

The ceiling for this team is a national championship. They aren't there yet as the team is still getting adjusted to Council, White, and TKR in the mix. There appears to be enough playable depth to where Self can keep his foot on the pedal on defense. The offense is still a work in progress, but it should get better as they play more games together.
Can this team stay healthy and can they stay eligible?

I think this team has a chance to be the best we have seen since 2023. I’m not ready to say they are championship caliber at this point. I honestly think we the bodies we have we should pressure more often against team like the Dukes and Louisville. Once we get into the meat of conference where the last 5 or 6 teams have completely crumbled, I’ll get back with you.
