I’m feeling a bit more optimistic. Self’s teams usually look lost in early exhibitions, then things snap into focus in November, then … who knows? Used to be we stayed focused and solid, but the last few years have been tough. I like that we have some vets to mix with some solid rooks. We have size. I’d like some more marksmen, but maybe someone will step up. So I guess I’m cautiously optimistic?

@HoraceZontal Yeah, I shouldn't put faith in exhibition results! But the players on the floor mostly besides the two starters from last year are all playing for minutes this season. So even though it might say exhibition it also is like a tryout for a lot of guys.

The hatchlings huddled together in the fog watching the large weird bird floating above them. Perhaps the weird one would finally tell them the secret of the three ball or perhaps not. The great weird bird did a flip and only said beak them Dukies this is our nest.

This team's ceiling is a national championship. Lots of factors obviously will determine whether that ends up being realistic or not, but the pieces are there for a title run this season.

I think this team has the chance to be better than the last 3 but the 3 were the worst of the Bills Self era. But I don’t see them winning the conference or being a real threat for a national championship.

This is a tough one. I think at the moment we have a bit of a mess of a roster. It's kind of a positive and negative at the same time.
Is it possible to make a pre-season trade?
Send one of the plethora of redundant 3-5s for a SG who can actually shoot from three?
If we keep all the guys, we can win some games. But how to make use of them all? so much redundancy. Except for the smalls. Everywhere else it's crazy. How can he recruit and sign soooo many 3-5s, but not a ton of quality, experienced shooters who will play?
IMO this team will need a lot of time to gel. Then possibly they'll have to re-gel if the court results aren't in our favor.
