Was looking at some ESPN fantasy football projections, and wondered what others thought of this:
Rashee Rice / 1,132 yards and 9 TDs.
Guessing that's on the high side?

Looks like the Chiefs added another body to the O Line.
The Giants are sending guard Joshua Ezeudu to the Chiefs, Jordan Schultz reports. Kansas City will give up a 2028 seventh-round pick in the swap.

Well if the Chiefs are going to be good, he’ll have to have this type of season.

The chiefs have announced there 53 man roster as of today. One of the biggest surprises to me is them keeping Remigio over Armstrong as a WR/KR. I think having a guy that solely catches kickoffs and punts becomes a waste of a roster spot. Armstrong had a solid preseason while Remigio whom is sure handed won’t make an impact in the passing game. He is going to fair catch the ball 89% of the time to begin with. Since signing with the chiefs in 2024 Remigio has appeared at the WR spot a total of 7 games and made 3 receptions. I think Smith and Worthy should be returning kicks. As it is important to note the chiefs rank 31st in the NFL right now as the a team that hasn’t scored a special teams touchdown since 2020. Only the raiders are worse. My biggest concern continues to be this WR corps and the offensive line pending on Simmons and Smith injuries. The WR corps maybe the worst collectively in the NFL this season.

Yea, the Chiefs seem to have a few glaring holes to fill somehow. Maybe they can plug a few with some pickups tomorrow, I hope at least.
WR— Rice ( and Kelce ) have to be super productive. Worthy seems serviceable, but could break in half at any moment. The rest, meh. There are a few bigger name waiver wire wrs out there. I wouldn’t mind a run at Cedric Tillman. He can’t be as bad as he’s been. Maybe a decent QB can help.
As for remigio, also meh. He was about in the middle of the pack league wide on his return averages? I would hope there’s somebody better out there. Armstrong just doesn’t fit the Andy mold for a WR.
OL— Simmons. Hmmm. I hope he’s just got a small back tweak. Otherwise we got big issues with him out and no obvious RT at the moment. Starting to wonder if other teams were smart to pass on Simmons? Fingers crossed he’s back and stable.
I think KC has improved since last year. Hopefully enough to be competitive.
As for Mahomes, man I’d like to see him fully healed before jumping into a game. Seems premature.

@rockchalkjayhawk I agree on the offensive side they are pretty much running out the same group of TEs/WRs/OL and hoping that having Walker makes teams stack the box so they can throw over the top. I’m just not sold on that happening. Yes I think Walker is better than an RB Mahomes has had in his career but he’s had trouble staying healthy and he seems to be feast or famine in terms of it’s a 8 yards run or a loss. He’s a not Barkley, Cook or Robinson IMO.
Defensively they just need guys that are paid top 5 at their position to actually play like it. Chris, George and Bolton are all very highly paid to be ranked in the mid 40s at their position.
