Self unbeaten at home on Big Monday, 40-0. Self never lost 2 home games in a row, in fact last it happened was in Roys first year. Houston hasn't lost 3 in a row for almost a decade now. So something's got to give, just like two weeks ago when Zona visited.

There's no logical reason why our team shouldn't win tonight even though Houston's super tough. We've been beating some of the giants of college basketball since 2026 started. Yet, after the biggest of them all against Zona we've been blown out at ISU and of course Saturday. So I really don't know what to expect.

My confidence level is low so I think we only win by 1 point! 71-70. It's really almost a must win because Saturday we'll be at Zona and I aint feeling good about that one at all.

I've been to many different stadiums and sat among opposing fans. I remember the OU fans were very welcoming. Not Nebraska. Usually my family and I get some kind of welcoming greeting for coming from so far away. Ole Miss and Clemson fans were great.
I think you missed the fact that the "Royals Suck" greeting came from a seven-year-old there with his father who offered no apology. I'd rather be just about anywhere than New York.

I always ask the question: If you and a friend were going to pick the two best all-time basketball teams, and you had the first pick, would you pick Wilt or Jordan? No question. Wilt was literally an athletic freak at 7'1". He could dominate the game however he wanted to- points, rebounds or assists. Russell is only mentioned because he had a great team around him for many years. Wilt, had a good team around him once. I can say all this because I am fortunate to have seen him play!

I believe only conference champions were eligible back then, was only 24 teams. If they had a shot clock back then Wilt would’ve been undefeated in college, teams held the ball for literally minutes against him.

Wilt had zero 20+ point games his freshman year in Div 1 because he wasn't eligible. He averaged over 29 pts his soph year ('56-'57 when KU lost in final in 2 (3?) OT), and 30+ pts his junior year ('57-58, when KU didn’t make the tourney). No individual game box scores I could find, but he likely had more 20+ games than <20 games in his KU career.
