Honestly he did some good and some bad. College sports is just such a shit show right now I don’t even know how to evaluate him.

Without him, the Big 12 wouldn't exist as a P4 conference. He jumped the Pac 12 in getting a new media rights deal which is why the Big 12 still exists today as the 3rd conference. He has the league in position add from the ACC in the near future as their next deal is approaching.

He is/was a risk taker and obviously some of his ideas have flopped like the LED court and the Monster Energy deal. He was never passive when it came to acting on his ideas and that's something that was an overall positive for the league and I hope whoever follows him has a similar mindset and approach.
